By now I’m sure you’ve seen and heard of the newest trend brow lamination which has been sweeping the beauty industry since 2020. Brow lamination is an innovative beauty treatment that has continued to grow in popularity, as it recreates the trending look of thick, bushy brows. Brow lamination is great for those who love a ‘brushed-up’ look but can’t seem to tame their brow hair due to it being too straight or fine.

What is Brow Lamination?

The brow lamination treatment involves straightening and lifting the hairs using a chemical solution, this allows the hairs to have more flexibility to move them into your desired shape, therefore covering any gaps or stray areas in one’s natural brows.

After straightening the natural brow hairs, a fixing solution is then applied to keep the hairs straight with the option of a tint also if desired. The result is fuller-looking brows that stay in place when brushed into shape.

Is Brow Lamination Permanent?

In general, you can expect to get between four to six weeks out of a brow lamination treatment. However, depending on how well you look after your eyebrows it is possible to get up to eight weeks out of the treatment. It is recommended after the four-to-six-week period to get your brows re-lamination in order to maintain the look over a longer period of time.

How Long Does the Treatment Take and Is it Expensive?

The treatment process itself doesn’t take very long, between 15 to 20 minutes. Some brow lamination treatments also include the tinting and/or waxing of the brows, which can take up to 40 minutes in a salon.  

A brow lamination can vary on price depending on the location but generally it caused between €35 to €55.
